Return to the Living World.
Modern culture demands non-stop acceleration, leaving our focus scattered, our bodies chronically on edge, and our vital link to the earth frayed. Struggling under the weight of global instability while trying to meet everyday demands isn’t an individual flaw; it’s the natural outcome of a system out of balance.
Earth Stewards offers a sacred pause, a space to step away from the noise and re-root in ecological wisdom. Over eight weeks, you will learn to settle your nervous system, cultivate nature-assisted healing practices for yourself and your community, and examine the structural drivers of collective harm. Together, we move through eco-anxiety and burnout toward renewed vitality, guiding you to design or deepen a tangible, grassroots initiative for planetary care.
Bookings via Humanitix.
Mindfulness isn’t about escaping the world—it is about arriving fully into our place within it.
The Core Elements of the Journey
-
Nervous System Restoration: Acquire earth-based somatic tools designed to calm chronic overstimulation and establish steady, lasting resilience.
-
The Earth as Co-Healer: Shift from seeing nature as a passive setting to engaging the living world as an active participant in individual and collective restoration.
-
Root-Cause Clarity: Examine the socio-cultural and economic forces driving systemic exhaustion and harm, empowering you to respond with grounded wisdom instead of habituated reactivity.
-
Reframing Eco-Grief into Purpose: Channel ecological anxiety and helplessness into grounded action, renewed purpose, and practical hope.
-
Tangible Project Creation: Turn contemplation into real-world application by developing or advancing an environmental or community initiative.
-
Connected Eco-Community: Share space with a dedicated network of leaders, thinkers, and artists through a supportive WhatsApp group focused on reciprocity, slow living, and care.

Guided by the Eco-Dharma Mandala
Rather than a linear checklist, your journey unfolds across four interconnected quadrants of spiritual ecology practice:
-
Waking Up (Grounding in Mindful Awareness): Re-anchoring in somatic presence, the senses, and the immediate living land.
-
Transforming Separation (Cultivating the Connected Heart): Meeting eco-anxiety, grief, and burnout with deep compassion, resilience, and emotional honesty.
-
Interconnectedness (Interbeing & Impermanence): Seeing through the illusion of isolation to experience our deep ecological interdependence with all life.
-
Wise Action (Regeneration & Reciprocity): Translating insight into active hope, eight interconnected habits to live a wise, kind, and focused life, and regenerative care for community and Earth.

The 8-Week Curriculum Breakdown
This course is structured into four distinct, highly experiential modules designed to cultivate deep insight, emotional resilience, and a life-sustaining purpose and professional practice:

Week 1: Waking Up to the Living World
-
Focus: Grounding in Mindful Awareness & Gratitude
-
What We’ll Explore: Shifting from viewing nature as a backdrop to experiencing ourselves as nature. Establishing a personal "Sit Spot" and re-sensitising our awareness to what sustains our lives and work.
Week 2: The Somatic Landscape & Presence
-
Focus: Somatic Regulation & Body-Earth Connection
-
What We’ll Explore: Understanding how chronic stress disembodies us. Using sensory engagement and earth-anchored body scans to soothe the nervous system and move out of "hustle mode."
Week 3: Staying Open to Compassion and Joy
-
Focus: Emotional Resilience & Shared Vulnerability
-
What We’ll Explore: Navigating eco-grief, anxiety and burnout. Recognising that our pain for the world stems from our love and interconnection. Holding space for diverse experiences in a supportive circle and transform energy for motivation.
Week 4: Eco-Consciousness & Impermanence
-
Focus: Interbeing, Ecosystemic Change & Navigating Transition
-
What We’ll Explore: Challenge the myth of the isolated self through Breathing With the Web and Deep Time practices. Explore how ecosystems navigate death, decay, and renewal, using nature-mirroring to meet personal and cultural transitions with equanimity and wisdom.
Week 5: Systemic Awareness & Interconnected Support
-
Focus: Structural Harm, Deconstructing Oppression & Systems of support
-
What We’ll Explore: Examining how ecological degradation and social inequality stem from institutionalised forms of the Three Poisons. Shifting from personal to collective awareness, recognising that personal liberation is inseparable from dismantling systemic oppression and cultivating mutual support.
Week 6: Grassroots Regeneration & Local Action
-
Focus: Community Eco-Resilience, Circular Systems & Transformation
-
What We’ll Explore: Translating eco-consciousness into localised action. Exploring practical grassroots impact, including carbon emission reduction, biodiversity, circular economy, resilient local food networks and compassionate social support, while identifying the impact areas you are most passionate about.
Week 7: Wise Action, Strategy & Project Design
-
Focus: The Eightfold Path, Regenerative Action & Advocacy
-
What We’ll Explore: Translate contemplative insight into practical stewardship grounded in wise action. Design a grassroots project proposal across key impact areas.
Week 8: Collaborative Leadership & Support
-
Focus: Project Showcase, Peer Collaboration & Stewardship
-
What We’ll Explore: Present your grassroots project outline in a supportive peer forum to gather constructive feedback and collaboration. Establish a personal integration plan to support yourself and others, avoid burnout, and ongoing connection.
